So, whenever I start playing a game that I\'m going to review for the website, I\'m going to make it a point to post a quick blog entry to let everyone know what the initial feeling is.
In this installment, I will go over the first thoughts on College Hoops 2K8.
The Good
- The interface is the same as most of 2K8\'s menu systems. It\'s simple to navigate through things, which is nice.
- Gameplay is very smooth. Defense is a bitch, but that gives it a nice challenge.
- Arenas look very good.
- The Sunday Selection Show is fantastic to watch. I was almost as excited to watch it as I get on the actual Selection Sunday.
- Create-a-player is just as deep as other 2K8 games.
- Play creator is a wonderful addition, although it\'s tough to master.
The Not So Good
- Player faces are terrible....and I do mean TERRIBLE
- Greg Gumbel looks like a robot. Same with Clark Kellogg.
- Announcing is repetitive.
- Running a play is a bitch.
- Free throw shooting.....
