The movie was fantastic! It is definitely the best HP movie to date. It is true that they did leave a few things out, but so is the case with all movies based on books. They took out the whole ordeal with Creature the house elf, but other than that, there wasn't too much different from the book. I loved it.

I heard a lot of complaints about how much of the book was missing in the movie too... I think they just go into the theater with the wrong attitude. They should try and forget the details of the book and just watch the movie as if they've never heard the story before. I think they'd get more out of it that way. Attitude and perspective go a long way.

I thought it was better than the Goblet of Fire but then again every movie seems better than the last I guess. Can't wait until the final book is released.

I just went to see it, and I really liked it. It's got me more psyched than before about the final book. I agree about the last fight scene... It definitely could've been longer. There were a few parts I didn't remember.

Yeah, the final fight should've been a little longer to provide a more dramatic build up to Sirius' death.

Today my sister and I went to Joseph-Beth to buy a voucher for the new book. I'm pumped. I'm going to download the demo for the Order of the Phoenix game tonight.

I just made a countdown to the Harry Potter release that's on the top of this thread only. Just in case you have trouble keeping time. If you can tell, I'm really pumped.
Note: The Countdown won't count unless the whole page loads including myGamercard.net cards which can often be unavailable.
The release of the final Harry Potter book is about 12 hours away. Right now there are already excerpts circulating the web. No spoilers are allowed on Xbox America. You can not discuss the contents of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows until July 22nd. At that time, you may post in a new thread, with this identifying symbol in the thread title: *SPOILERS*
Intentional distribution of spoilers though Xbox America, prior to July 22nd will result in a permanent ban.
