it changes the colors and brightness and etc. in order to set it to work better with halo 3. though it does change how some games look i guess. but i havent had any problems yet.

you watch the calibration video and it shows you how to set you color, brightness, and i believe the sharpness and tint and sound in order to have it set to the best veiwing of halo 3.
