I tried to load the Halo 3 Beta, and it looked like the screen in the Matrix with nothing but silver streaks running down a black background. It also froze my console and I had to restart it from the base.

Not good for my first attempt to get in and play.....

Maybe Bungie uploaded you into the Matrix without your knowledge. In which case, I recommend that you take the Blue pill.:D

I haven't heard of this problem before. You should never put much merit in your first impression though.

I was able to load it the day I it came out, but did not play. This tanked after it got to the main screen.
