I had the thought after reading someones reply to some parts of Legendary being too easy on Halo 3. I thought to myself, \"well, it can\'t be too hard all the time. Look at Gears - it had some very easy areas during Insane mode.\"
Now I want to pose the Q to you:
Which is harder? Halo 3 on Legendary, or Gears of War on Insane? Keep in mind, I am not asking which game is better, which game has cooler graphics, or whatever. I am asking which game is harder on thier respective hardest difficulties.
Also, you must consider both a single player attempt, as well as the co-op attempt.
Here\'s my answer: Halo 3.
Even in co-op, Halo 3 Legendary difficultty is a feat to conquer. When I nailed Commando for Gears, I did it with a buddy... and it was hard, don\'t get me wrong, and it was very fulfilling. However, we managed to do it pretty much in one sitting. Halo 3 however, seems impossible to do in one sitting. And I have never died so many times in one level when I compare to Gears. Could it be my skill level? I know I am decent at FPS titles, but have slacked when it comes to Halo2 and 3, in favor of Gears.
Gears to me, will remain one of my favorites, but I would suggest that the Legendary difficulty of Halo3 is a true challenge over Gears.
Now, for Q2. Since I said that H3 is harder then Gears, I will counter it with this one: Which is harder - H3 on Legendary, of Call of Duty 2/3 on Veteran?
Think of this as you reply to the fuirst Q and if you want to answer this one, go ahead. As for me, I haven\'t been challenged more than in CoD2 Veteran, and am most proud of those achies than any other ones earned.
