Apparently, if there is an item large enough to sport a crimson skull and gear cog this November, then it will be branded "Limited Edition" and have the Gears logo plastered on it. The Zune, Microsoft's foray in the MP3 player market and stand against Apple's seeming monopoly with it's iPod, is no exception to this rule.
Expected starting November 7, a Gears of War 2 Zune will be available for purchase. This Zune will be a 2nd generation model, boasting 120GB of storage space, and features a Crimson Omen etching on the pack of the player. The player is also going to come pre-loaded with 1.14GB of Gears of War content, featuring:
-Gears of War Original Game Soundtrack
-9 Gears of War videos, including gameplay, trailers, and behind-the-scenes moments with Epic Games
-244 different images, including game concept art, team photos, and custom Zune backgrounds

I have never used a Zune, nor an iPod for that matter. My sister has a Zune and she swears by it; I probably won't be looking to pick up a Gears of War version, but I will be watching to see if the regular Zunes drop in price with this release, as I have been looking into getting one for some time now.
