The Games Library now estimates the waffling quality of all games. It calculates the average gamerscore for the game and then uses the total possible gamerscore for that game to calculate the average percentage of available gamerscore that Xbox America gamers get. Using that data, it figures out the percentile. In the end, you see a quick name reflecting the percentile.
Keep in mind that this process isn't flawless and so some games, particularly ones with expansion packs, may not be fairly represented.
Here are the different waffling difficulties:
Supreme Waffle
Supreme Waffle games are the 95th percentile and up in ease of gamerscore. These are the absolute best games for waffling out there.
Belgian Waffle
Belgian Waffle games are between the 90th and 95th percentile in ease of gamerscore. They're great for waffling.
Buttermilk Waffle
Buttermilk Waffle games are between the 75th and 90th percentile in ease of gamerscore. Usually they're pretty good for waffling.
"Better Than Nothing" Waffle
"Better Than Nothing" Waffle games are between the 50th and 75th percentile in ease of gamerscore. They're not great for waffling, but earning their gamerscore isn't difficult.
Stale Waffle
Stale Waffle games are between the 25th and 50th percentile in ease of gamerscore. They're usually difficult to earn gamerscore in.
Burnt Waffle
Burnt Waffle games are less than the 25th percentile in ease of gamerscore. Stay away if you want to earn gamerscore.
Mysterious Waffle
Mysterious Waffle games either are too new to tell how difficult they are, or have been played by too few gamers. Try waiting until this game has been released for three weeks and then check back.
