I'm not a Lions fan, but he didn't do too bad for his first time kicking in years. I seen this on ESPN and they mentioned he used to play soccer when he was younger, and their kicker was hurt, so they had him do it.

I am aware of that, I have him in my Fantasy League, he used to play for the NE Cornhuskers, just 70 miles from me. He was also a Heisman candidate last year, iirc, the first Defensive player to be a candidate.
If you watch more of the video, you see that the Lions real kicker was injured at the time that the EP had to be kicked. So, since Suh used to play soccer, they had him attempt the kick.

Charles Woodson won it as a Defensive Player at Michigan in 1997
My bad, i had iirc. I just knew it was a huge deal around here because he's a Husker and they play an hour from here.
