John Porcaro over at Gamerscoreblog has answered a question about dashboard themes and game pages that have been coming up since the re-design announcement. Well, John had the design team send over a couple of mock ups of both a theme and the game pages so everyone could get a feel. It appears as if the theme will essentially be a wallpaper or background, while the game pages will follow suit to what many have on their Xbox.com page. My only question is how will they handle those themes that have multiple images across all the current Dash blades...

The images on the NEWS page are (L to R) Master Chief theme, Halo 3 Game Page, Viva Pinata Game Page and a dash blade in the new format...

There will always be a market to purchase things with MS points.....just on this forum there are numerous people who want to keep their gamepics and have purchased a bunch...plus themes. I almost purchased a theme today with the free 100 ms points from the dreamcarchallange thing but decided not to...I want to see if they will even be needed when the new update comes out. The same goes with gamerpics, im not sure how the avatar thing will be but I would put money on it that you can purchase clothes and shit. Can you imagine how many more companies are gonna make money from this. Hook me up with a Volcom shirt, some faded jeans, and some Chuck Taylors!!!! Ohh yeah and a new era Rockies fitted in all black. hahha
