I absolutley refuse to rent the avatar game, as much as a gamerscore whore as I am to use that game is just retarded.
i still dont quite understand why people just rent games and play them to get points, do they honestly get that bored at home?
I can understand if they buy the game and get the full points for it, but to waste money on just renting it, playing it for a week then returning it.....it just seems pointless to me.

Couldn't agree with you more about the renting for points. I don't have that kind of money to blow, even if it only is a couple bucks. Every game that I have played, I own. When it comes to gamerscore, people seem to have their own code about getting them. Some rent, some won't. Some let friends help them, others do it themselves. To each their own, I guess.

AngloSaxton: "I'm going to disagree with you on GUN. The last achievement, for beating the game on the hardest setting is def not easy. It takes patience and strategy."
The GUN achvs are cake...if you know how to access the mission select "cheat". I got the majority of mine in that game in a good 30 minutes, including beating the "game" (a.k.a. last checkpoint) on Hard.
As for renting games, after being burned a few times on "overhyped" games, I found it is much easier on the wallet to rent or purchase used games, giving me the ability to play a lot of different games, and if I like them, I pick them up. If I don't, I get the points I can from it, then take it back. I understand the "each to their own" mentality, but I can't ever see myself letting ANYONE do an achv for me, esp. for "money". Same with boosting...unless the game is glitched where you can't possibly get the achv legit, I'm not joining a boost game, and I actually enjoy wrecking them! My points are from games I played, and achievements I personally accomplished.

I'm not to into points.
if its games like CoD2 or CoD4 or halo 3 that u get the points for beating the campaign on vet/leg, then i will do them or online, but i wont do things like on saints row where u have to collect a bunch of crap.
i just don't have the patience some of u achievement junkies have.
and im not using "achievement junkies" as a derogatory term so don't get mad

Hah saints row. I worked my ass off to get 490 points out of that game and feel like I actually accomplished something. After 2 months of playing that game straight (online and off) I finally had to call it quits. C'mon Saints Row 2.... I'm ready!!!!
