Earn Host, or Admin Host?

Ok, here's your chance to help decide the Tournament host issue once and for all, or at least vote as to which of the two methods you would prefer.

Do you want to have the opportunity to earn the right to host in a tie-breaker match by playing better than anyone else in the match, or do you want a non-playing admin to host the match and just stay at spawn unmoving.

So it sounds like you will have someone not playing host the later rounds. Which is fair.

In the earlier rounds, if you're having teams play more than one game and have each team host an equal number of games, there's always the possibility of a tie. I suppose if it comes down to a tie, you can have someone who's not playing host the tie-breaker, that would probably be the fairest thing for both teams.

I know you are releasing the details next week, but give us a hint.:D

I would do this:

Team A beats Team B 5-3 on Team A's host.
Team B then beats Team A 5-0 on Team B's host.
Team B should host the tiebreaker because they won more rounds than Team A (8-5)

Thats exactly how it should be. The team that wins the most rounds in the first two games gets to host the final match. If there is a tie then a neutral host can be used or the teams can both play the on each host again for 3-5 rounds and use that to decide who hosts for the final map/game.

Host is a huge factor in gow, i hope that everyone respects this and gives the host to the player on their team with the best connection so that the games are not overly laggy and unplayable for everyone but the host.
