EA, What do you think of them?

Personally I hate EA games. I think they mess with everything they touch and wish they would go back to just making sports games.
Reasons:

They cant seem to do simple things right.
-Achievement glitches ( Mercenaries 2 Is a perfect example of this)
-Battlefield bad Company, Medal glitches
-laggy severs

Just bad Games

-Army of two, looked good, but sucked (Why are they making a second one???)
-Mercenaries 2 , the first one was great and i was expecting a good game. It sucked. Also i just checked my old PS2 one and EA was no where on it.

I ll give them that mirrors edge was good when you first play it, but it lacked a multiplayer or a lot of replay value.

Hey did anyone see their E3 expo?They opened with a game for young girls. Also they showed basically no in game play and all cut scenes.

And now they have partnerships with good companies Like valve and BioWare, meaning they get a chance to mess with Left for Dead 2 and Mass Effect 2.

I don't understand why EA is such a giant in the gaming world. I personally don't see anything outstanding by them.

I dont see a much of a reason to hate them' i like them very much actually. Spite there achievement glitches, and mediocre games.....that stuff is small shit. Seeing as how big of a company they are. I love Battlefield games, screw the medals and achievements, love the maddens, love NHL's. They make/do good stuff.

Anyway, As i said i wished they stuck to their sports games.Also the old Battlefield Modern Combat was good,I enjoyed that on my X-box. Bad company on the other hand has problems and went down in quality

Bad Company was great. I love the story, and multiplayer was really good. Though i prefer playing multiplayer BF's on PC. And achievements are great' but when i love a game' sometimes i just forget about them. But also if i love the game i might just go for all achievements. But achievements dont make a game.

I'm always going for almost always (PSU is my main exclusion) achievements, once i 1000 out a game I'm usually done with it, just the way i am. Seriously though if every game game company that produces a game on the 360 has to include achievements, why cant a giant like EA do it right?

well they do make some good games but i wish they wouldnt shut down the servers...

The only thing good is there easy games, but wow they a such cheap scapes with the servers

I agree, their games have definitely stepped up a few levels over the past few years-even their servers, Bad Company is one of the smoothest games I ever played on the 360 to be honest with you. not many games can do vehicles in their online play without some lag but that game runs great for me! I think Peter Molineux stepping down from microsoft and over to EA has impacted the company in a very positive way.

Like i said, achievements are great, and have really effected gaming. But as a gamer, i could survive with out em.

I'm kinda split about liking EA or not. On one hand, I've been a madden fan and nba live fan since they came out on the snes and genesis. But on the other hand, I couldn't stand stuff like The Club.

Like Skate, Burnout Paradise, Battlefield, and Rock Band are good
