Today, when I went to fire up my FGN to get the final achievement in Battleship, I was unable to play any of these games due to the E.A. servers being down. All of the games that I just bought are only trial versions. OMG!! Problems with E.A. servers?? I almost can't believe that I am surprised.
OK then... No big deal. I'm sure the servers will come back online eventually. I guess I'll go get the last couple of achievements on Trivial Pursuit instead. Wait. who made that game? E.A.?? Well, there is no online support for this game so I should be ok, right. WRONG!!!!! says Lex Luthor.
So far we have found at least 5 questions that have wrong answers, many more that are so ambiguously worded that any of the answers could have been correct, and a map that is so poorly done that I was unable to locate the Grand Canyon. (When did they move it to Utah?)
That got me thinking about the 40 achievement points that they owe me for NBA Live '06! Also, I want the 100 points for the "1000 people online" achievement for Live '07!
The way I see it, E.A. owes me $80 and 140 points!
Why is E.A. trying to buy out the rest of the gaming world, if it is unable to hold up it's end of the bargain with the IPs it already possesses?? I'd boycott E.A. if they hadn't cornered 50% of the market!
Oh well. Maybe I'll just go to Walmart and buy Battleship. At least I won't have to rely on E.A.'s servers to get satisfaction from something I paid hard earned money for.
