Muffinos, when my browser is compressed from the sides to a certain width, everything under the "Welcome" banner gets pushed down to a second level at the bottom of the window. Looks like it may be a frame width issue?

The first Xbox Ohio tournament is on December 27th at 7:00 pm EST (negotiable). It will be on Perfect Dark Zero and will be either deathmatch or team deathmatch. More details will come when it's closer to the day of the tournament. Sign up, or get more information.

I added a navigation to the homepage. It has a few links, and then the 5 latest posts. This way when you visit, you can quickly see if there are any new posts. The main purpose of the navigation is that I will be able to expand the website in the future. Only so many links fit on the top navigation. Like it? I'm thinking about changing it from the green to a light gray, and the link color to green. Any thoughts?

I've just finished enough of the site to start spreading the word. Anyways, I hope you all like it, and will partake in it. It will be an ever going project, and will not be abandoned. In the meantime, register, and spread the word. That's xboxohio.com.

appears at the very bottom of the page (with lots of white space between the 'Welcome' banner and the welcome paragraph), not next to the navigation boxes. Been happening for around a week or so...

This happens to me in Internet Explorer. Firefox copes with it and reformats as you would expect, possibly a CSS Frame-Width problem caused by IE's funky CSS spec.

I don't know how to correct it now. Maybe some CSS junkies can help me out.

All sections of the left navigation are in a div with the following properties


float: left;
width: 165px;
margin: 0;


Then all the page content that goes to the right of that is in a div with the following properties


margin: 0 0 0 175px;


My CSS is not the most beautiful code you've ever laid eyes on. I usually just 'do it till it works.'

Maybe you could cut down on the space in the 'gray' maragins on each side.

If you made the interior a bit wider, and less margain, it would probably eliminate the issues I am having as more of the body of the page would be displayed.

Muffinos, any thoughts on either shortening the outside margain, or widening the interior body? It would probably "fix" the issue I am having.
