X06: Doom on Xbox Live Arcade

September 27, 2006 - Among the many announcements made at X06 today in Spain was the revelation that the classic first-person shooter Doom will be available on Xbox Live arcade.
The game includes the four original single player episodes, four player co-op and Deathmatch. This is available online on Xbox Live or split-screen. Not much more was stated about the game except for a small fact sheet boasting that it will include achievements, matchmaking, leaderboards, 1080i support, 5.1 Surround and "smooth textures."
Doom is currently available on the Xbox Live Arcade for 800 Microsoft points or $10
