I got a new Sony Vaio-all in one (basically looks like a LCD T.V.) tv/pc desktop. Its pretty sweet, its all wireless, and it mounts on the wall (though I havent done that yet). The only downfall I have found is syncing it with my xbox 360 for the media stuff. I have heard that other Vaio owners were having the same problem.
Anyone got the same problem or found a solution?

I've got a 15" Macbook Pro w/ a Core 2 Duo 2.33 GHz processor. For a monitor, besides the built-in display, I use my 32" Olevia HDTV that's mounted on the wall above the desk. I really only use that for watching movies and stuff, but it's great for that. It lets me watch shows from http://hulu.com as if it were coming from cable.

I used to dabble with pc gaming a long time ago but not anymore.

I built my PC about a year and a half ago. I was going from an old Dell P3, so anything was better than what I had :p

AMD Athlon X2 2.2GHz
2GB of RAM
2 GeForce 7300 GTs working in SLI mode
and I went with a moderately priced nVidia board to put it all together.

I've used PC all my life; I support PC. I've done some work on Macs. I would like to use them more, but their a bit too expensive and restrictive for my tastes. Every Network Admin I've ever talked to hates them, lol.

Why do you think that is? Do you find networking between Windows and Mac difficult? My family used to use exclusively PCs, but over the years we've switched so that now we use only Macs. Our network was an enormous pain in the ass to setup and maintain back when we had PCs, but now we literally don't have to do anything. Mac OS X handles everything.

I was absolutely amazed when I found out how simple it was to login to another Mac on the network with just the username and the password. I use it all the time to transfer files. We could never in hell manage to configure our Windows network to do that.

I don't know how it is integrating both macs and pcs into the same network though. I can imagine that might be challenging, but I really doubt the fault is in Mac OS X's software based on my experience with it.

I bet I sound like a helluva mac fanboy, and I guess I must be, but my opinion is based on positive experiences and is not blind devotion.

Mac rules. I tried to make the word "Mac" out of smilies, but they all just bunched together. O, well :D <(these smilies)
