I got another one for my dish network box today and was gonna use it on my 360 until I get the other one in the mail and I see that there's no way to have the digital optical cord and this particular HDMI cable hooked up at the same time. I'm trying to figure out how I can still keep my 360 hooked directly into my surround sound receiver if I can't use the digital optical cord with the HDMI.

Another question as I wait for the official 360 HDMI cable I found on ebay to get here: Can you still use a digital fiber optic cord with the 360 HDMI?

Yes, only if the person you bought from is sending the piece with the optical port. If they dont, i got one laying around for you. It looks like...
The fat end has the lil tiny black slot, and the red/white holes
