I think they usually gripe about it because they would've liked something different. A ranking system can be a very important part of a multiplayer experience, and they're not happy with prestige mode. They'd rather have something else.

halo 3's mp

i like the fact that on cod4 you can spawn w/ whatever weapon you want, but youre also forced to look like a certain person for whatever weapon you choose. i prefer in halo 3 where you can unlock armor permutations and you can look like what YOU want to look like

cod4 is much better, but even that i played for only a few days. great game i just get bored when it's not great and different at the same time. timeshift-there's a great , different game.:rolleyes:

I'll make a point on the prestige mode.

Personally I would have liked to get something back for doing Prestige, but I didn't and I don't think anyone else did but having everyone else tell them they have no life.

If there would have been some sort of reward, then cool, but to do it for fun, is retarded imho.

In my opinion COD4 blew Halo 3 out of the water when it comes to the multiplayer. Sometimes the PERKS can get a little annoying because I prefer a level playing field: no armor, no air strikes, choppers and so forth. But all around it is the fastest, prettiest shooter around. I play almost every night so If anyone wants to get down with me or any of the RNM clan members hit me up.....

i agree that and it is too easy to get to 55 i did it in 6hours. i wish it was more like rainbow 6 vegas ranking. im very good at cod4 and perks are awsome but the ranking is shit

Really I cant compare the two. At one point it was all about Halo 3 multi player but in my opinion it was never nearly as big of a deal as Halo 2 was in my book. Then there was COD4 and in the first game online I honestly said that it could possibly be better than Halo 3. I like being able to accomplish challenges to gain more experience thus leveling up faster and the fact that you can customize your weapon (to a small extent) also puts it up over Halo. But to be fair Halo has massive maps, loads more people can play at once. Vehicles are a big thing too, sometimes you just feel like being an idiot and running around in something trying to run over someone, that you cant do in COD4. So Im going to go with COD4. Ive put more hours into that game simply because of the fact that you can start over and a few of my work buddies at the time were big into having the better stats you know how it goes. Oh and Im a huge sucker for being about to customize my characters stuff. Id much rather play RSV2 but the way the game handles the connection is horrid compared to COD4 or even Halo.
