In the top of the 7th, the d-rays scored 2, and had the bases loaded with no outs. Rafael Perez came in to pitch. He got out of the inning without Tampa Bay scoring another run. That's freaking amazing.
Then later in the game in the bottom of the 8th, the Indians exploded. There was a sac fly, and some other shit I don't remember, but after a few runs (caused by 3 Tampa errors) the Indians were up 6-2, bases juiced, 1 out, and big man Grady was up to bat. Sizemore had struck out twice and flied out once. He knocked it into the stands in right field, for a grand slam.
The score stayed the same through the next inning, ending the game 10 to 2, Cleveland. Hell yea baby. I used to be a huge Indians fan back in the days of Omar, Thome, both Alomars, Colon, Lofton, Ramariez, Fryman, and whoever else I'm forgetting. I lost interest as those guys gradually left, or got traded away. I haven't really payed much attention to the Indians since. I was told if I wanted to get back into them, this would be the season. I think they earned the right for me to start following them.
Who knows... maybe things will get serious.
