It is going to exceed the 50MB limit. I think that that is a good and a bad thing. Good because we can get higher quality games (not that there is nothing wrong with any of the titles available now) and give the creators much more freedom, but bad, of course, by causing longer d/l times (is there really a difference if you wait 2 minutes or 4 minutes? LOL), and possibly higher priced XBLA games. I don't normally buy many XBLA games, but I will definitley make an exception for Castlevania, and there are more than a few others I want to look into.

Reason they try to keep it under the 50 meg mark is to be able to transfer it to your memory card. I have looked at gamestop.com and see that they have a 256MB memory card coming out later this year so I am sure MS will say if you want to transfer it to buy a 256MB memory card. I don't think the correlation to have the size of the download larger apply to the price of the XBLA title. I believe its that developers are now used to have ample storage space available to them and are struggling to keep it under the 50 meg limit in some cases.

Exactly, don't get me wrong, I'm in no way saying that it's a bad thing, I can just see why MS would want to maintain a size restriction, and I also see why companies would want/need to break that limitation. I know they want to keep it like that to fit XBLA games on a memory card, but, personally, I've never even considered buying a memory card, lol, so it would not bother me, nor do I think the majority of other Live members. And yes, it would definitley make sense if they are coming out with a 256MB card later this year. Maybe they will increase the size limitation for good.
