Call of Duty 2 (Obviously)

This game is incredible! My friend got his 360, and I played this with my jaw touching the ground (meaning, I was in shock how good it was). The demo in stores I think gives just a rough feel of what the full game is actually like.

Splitscreen: Well, this is a blast. My friend and I were playing split-screen (1vs1) and it was just, amazingly fun. People were saying the online for CoD 2 wasnt that good, since it has only 4vs4, but I would say if 1vs1 is fun, 4vs4 must be even more fun.

Singeplayer: This put me in complete shock! My friend was on the night mission in Egypt, and let me play. It is just, ridiculous. It was a blast seeing hundreds of troops coming from each side, and being able to call artillery on them.

I have CoD 2, but not a 360. I cant wait till I can play that bad boy...

Anyone have this game? I am shur a lot of you do. Tell me what you think, and give me some of your thoughts or reviews:D

I heard the multiplayer is pretty bad, but not just because it's only 4 vs 4. After games you get kicked out to the main menu, so there is no lobby. You can't have private games, and it makes it almost impossible to get in a game with your friends. Also it's supposed to be one of the only xbox 360 games with lag.

Despite all that, I still think it will be kick*ss. I bought it mostly just for the single player, but I will try out the online multiplayer. I hate just staring at the case and not being able to play it. Come on kmart, ship that 360, ship it!

I own this game and am working on going through this on Veteran. It's one tough game on Veteran, I think it definitely gives a sense of how tough war would be. The game is simply amazing. The multiplayer is a bit laggy, but I find that it can be pretty fun, although I have only played it a few times. When you guys get the 360, let me know, maybe I can find ya and join ya in a game of COD2.

I have been playing Tiger Woods online with the 360 and it has been laggy in most of my matches I have played. I think that has been an issue in previous versions of Tiger too. I haven't played COD2 yet on the 360, but I have on the original Xbox. I will probably rent it. It goes look good though.

Like folks have said, the game truely is amazing. It does a great job of establishing chaos on the battlefield...can definitely make you tense.

Completed it on Normal and now working my way through Veteran. Really gotta take your time on Veteran and find your cover. I've also gone prone much more in Veteran to avoid fire or to line up my shots. Also used the binoculars more to see where folks are hiding\firing from.

Haven't even tried mp from all the bad buzz it has been getting.

I have been playing a lot of Deathmatch online and haven't had any problems recently. Probably played 8 matches (both team and single player) and there was no lag whatsoever.

I had heard it depends on the first person in the game, as their conection establishes how good the game play will be.

Yeah COD2 single player is very awesome ! I have beat it through on all of them except vetern which is what i'm working on now, Very hard ! 2 bullets and your laying on the ground in a puddle of blood.

Online sucks I hate that you cant create your own room, and it is very hard to get a room with your friends. Also very much lag !!!!! The only 360 game I have expierenced lag on live.

Since I've gotten my 360, I'll post opinion after playing it.

Wow. This game is awesome. It's my favorite of the 3 games I have (cod2,pdz,kameo). First, the single player is incredible. I'm going through it all on veteran and it's very hard. Each level takes me atleast an hour, usually 2 or sometimes even 3.

After everything bad I've heard about the multiplayer, I was really impressed when I played it on xbox live. The lag in some of the games gets really annoying at times. I just leave whenever there is any lag. I also hate not being able to create your own private rooms. There is no way to make a tournament for this game. You also can't join games with specific maps (because some of the maps flat out suck).

Despite all that, it's really fun. I like it better than PDZ.

Yeah man, I agree! Everyone said online sucks. A couple games were laggy, but a couple people left and it was nice. I love online and offline. Online, is just as realistic as single player. I am also 'attempting' to beat the game on Veteran...but, it is extremely, EXTREMELY...hard.

And Muffinos, did you notice me in the game with you today? I saw you on, so I joined.

I'm not even close to completing Veteran. I'm just starting the American campaign on Regular. It is so hard to get acheivments in this game. But it is too fun to stop playing!

I'm on the last ( i think and hope ) part of the D Day mission. It's the part where I'm supposed to clear out all the points in a town area.

Your close, butyou have one more step. After clearing the buildings, you will be told to go to the top of the Silo and snipe all the incoming mortar teams. Biggest pain in the ass I have come across until CAEN. There is a second sniper rifle in the building all teh way to the left, (upstairs) I suggest picking it up, as it hold more ammmo (10) per clip than the default.

Cool thanks for the tip. Any hints for clearing the town though? I've tried going to the house across the boxes and barrels, but I've died each time. I've also tried going up top in the house a little after the start and sniping. That usually takes awhile as they keep coming, and then when I finally decide most are dead, and go out, I get killed.
