he's pretty funny sometimes. my friend had a video of tenacious d playing live in some foreign country and it was hilarious. i also really liked his character in orange county.

Yet I thought Elf was hilarious...I HATE Christmas movies. My wife knows that the only Christmas movies allowed in our house are Elf and A Christmas Story since they're so funny.
As for Jack Black...you can't take him seriously. It's all an act, like Sean said...it's about comedic value. It would appear you probably aren't a fan of his music or comedy and it's all good. If everyone liked the same stuff this world would suck.

Jack Black is awesome. Jack Black is way more metal than any of these 'new metal bands' they freaking suck in my opinion. Old metal is tolerable at the very least and Jack Black just brings another level of awesome into the picture. Have you ever listened to the self titled T. D. album? It's sick.
