once you make the car and give them your info they email you a code for the ms points. you then sign in to ms website where you enter the code and they immediatly apply to your account. I racked up 200 but have only recieved the code for the 100 so far.

Ohh yeah I made my lady do it to so i could get another code for 100 points and it didnt work... it said I had redeemed the maximum number of coupons allowed for the promotion. I will try to make another car at midnight and see if I get another code. Also I believe how you get the extra 100 ms points is by voting on 20 cars per day.

So I think this should answer a couple of the key question you might have....It appears as though you can rack up a SHIT TON OF POINTS!!!!!!!!!
It says that there is a cap on points of 2000. Basically make a car everyday and vote a few cars during that same session and you'll get 100 points a day. I will be doing this every freakin day for the next 20 days. The contest ends August 25th so you still have plenty of time to start on your free 2000 points!!!
1.Then, return to the MSN Autos Dream, Design, Drive Challenge daily. Create another car, login, and youll receive 50 points each time you submit a new car. Plus earn another 50 points for your first ranking in the Showroom during that session. Thats up to *100 points per day during the promotion! (please note that specific caps do apply).
How will I receive the remaining Points I have accumulated during the promotion?
A. At the end of the promotion, you will receive an email with a coupon code(s) for the total amount of points accumulated during the promotion that you can deposit into your Microsoft Points account. To deposit these Points coupons, follow the steps 3 & 4 above. Go to the Microsoft Points website http://points.microsoft.com and select Redeem a Microsoft Points prepaid or promotional code link. You will be asked to sign in with your Windows Live ID.
