I have a 42" Panasonic Viesa Plasma. Sadly, it is only a 720p, as my research said that in TV's smaller than 50" the difference between 720p and 1080p are very hard to see.
We want to upgrade this year to a larger TV for the Living room, but this will remain my gaming TV, just in the bedroom instead of the living room.

I use a 26-inch Toshiba LCD as my gaming TV. I use both my gaming computer and my Xbox with this TV (both in HDMI) so I can use them at the same time if desired. It's perfect for me.
In my living room I have a 50-inch Panasonic Plasma but I prefer gaming on my 26-inch LCD. I like being closer to my screen which is probably a bad thing. I also like the convenience of having my gaming computer and my Xbox together in case I want to switch it up. Just more choices, since my Xbox game collection is lacking at the moment.
Once I decide on the connection type I'll be using in my living room, I'll have an Xbox with the bigger television. Mainly for friends and family to connect to when they are visiting.

I bought a 60in sony sxrd LCD projection about 3 years ago. Its been a great tv so far, with the exception of one slight hickup. My projection bulb went out a few days before the kickoff classic in atlanta when alabama an virginia tech played! I had to scramble around and get a new bulb which cost $250. I was able to install the bulb myself, but a word of advice. If you have a projection based TV and the blub goes out, you can pick those things up for a fraction of the cost off the internet. Nine times out of ten, it will be the same bulb minus the housing that the original comes with. But you can easily do a housing switch, and save yourself an easy $100 or more by doing it yourself.
