Ouch I lost my 50 day streak 1 day shy of 100 day streak cause I was in the hospital and didn't have service on my iphone 
So I had to start allllllllll over.

That's what a streak is. Has to be every day. I lost my 50 day going out of town for a weekend so it was worth it.

Well, if you check it every day, you'll know if you did it yesterday because it tells you the last time you logged in. I have to go to my profile and make sure it says 'Today at 00:00' with the time in there. If it says 'Yesterday at 00:00' then you are good, and I would make sure it updated because sometimes I would check it and the time wouldn't change. If it has a date like 10/30/09 at some time, then you missed a day...
I saw the notice that my award was revoked and my heart sank.
That does bring up a question, since the site had been down for a short time a few days ago. If the site was down for, say, over 24 hours, would everyone's awards be revoked or do those not count? Nobody would be able to get in to update, and everyone would lose their streak.
