Glad to see my Seraphic Gatekeeper achievement get some props. Never thought I would spend 50+ hours on a 1 point achievement.

i can't believe i own raving rabbids with a impossible achievement. wasn't it microsoft who said that achievement requirements means everyone needs to be able to get them? lying bastards
The rules don't matter any more; and probably never did. It's all a facade, and MS should have been more on top of it. Look at Gaylo 3 with its nearly 2K in GS, or LOTR: BFME II and its 740 or something.
A big one that pisses me off is Force Unleashed with 1220. Wtf? You couldn't come up with just one other 30pt achievement LucasArts?
Bah!

There is also Condemned that has 970. What about the E.A. games that had their servers shut down effectively making online achievements unavailable.
The thing is, yes, Microsoft should probably regulate a little better, but I'm sure that is not their highest priority. It sucks for all of us score whores, but Microsoft is only breaking their own made up rules over an arbitrary point system that THEY made up. Don't look for any more stringent action toward offenders. Just take the points you can get.
About 1220 on Force Unleashed, Lucas Arts had probably had more DLC planned for the last 30 points. They are allowed 250 extra for DLC, but aren't required to use their entire allotment.
I know it's frustrating sometimes, but It could be worse! We could be playing PS3 or WII! I'll take my 360!!

I understand I'm just pointing out a few examples really while I rant to no one. But when it comes down to it, what producer was like "Excellent job guys, this is finished. Ship it." without dealing with some obvious Especially in the case of TFU. I highly doubt they actually were planning for another piece of DLC for 30pts and if they weren't, who decided 1220 works? Look at past DLC that didn't use the full 250. Like Bioshock at 1100 or Mass Effect at 1050. Even though it isn't the full amount, at least those numbers arguably make sense.
As for condemned and BFME2 it is stupid but devs didn't really have the full work flow down pat yet, and so those I'm never too annoyed by. As for EA and their servers I get really pissed off at them and I'll just leave it at that.
Anyway, the whole system is somewhat f***ed now and might as well just keep getting the most points per game, cause a game having some achievements is about the only guarantee we have...

I'm honestly not sure. I thought it was typo, and had to check 2 other sites to make sure it was accurate! I don't know what the deal is with that!

Yes pretty much. It is very lame yet I still succumb to the achievement system flawed as it is. Achievements is another great way to look at it, but once again has its flaws too. O Well.

So Ive been working on these Achievements for Trails HD and yeah they are tough. espically Groundhog Returns. Gotta run through the level just pressing gas and brake nothing else.

I have been pounding away at Mirror's Edge and Pac Man CE, but Pac Man CE is incredibly hard, especially the 10minute modes. Any advice?

CE is definitely one of my hardest completions... For the 10 minute modes make sure you always have a power dot (the big dot) on either side of the map... Since the maps are always mirror images you'll know what's going to be on both sides when you clear at least one side...
For the first 3-4 minutes of both 10 minute modes you shouldn't get any power dots, just simply stay away from the ghosts. Once you get the hang of that just eat the power dots but don't eat the ghosts because every time you eat a ghost they get faster... When I was going for the 400,000 point achievement, towards the end the ghosts were about twice as fast as I was!
Hope that helps.
