Achievement points...

Achievements points are a great feature added with the 360. But I think people stress so much about it!

It gives you something to do, and of course, play the game for a small reason, but people will go over their heads to get them.

I have the amount I have beating the game to the point I get bored of it, and nothing else.

Some people will rent games just to get them too! Argghhh!

Oh well, theres nothing better to do, right?

i agree sir.. me and alzapa talked about this.. its in one of the achievement forums.. i dont rent, i only buy what i want to play and then trade it in when i get bored of it

We have a few gamer score whores here at XO... *cough* helacool *cough* zoboa *cough*.

Personally, I play the games I own and have fun. Then, I will try and get the achievements. If some are too hard, or too boring, I just skip them. It's a kind of nice challenge. I can understand why some people go at the lengths they do to get them but it's just not for me.

For example, I haven't finished Kameo yet because it got really repetitive and boring to me.

Haha, yeah, I hated Kameo. I got it for free.

I will admit though, I like trying to get the BF2 achievements. They are quite hard to get, but are a blast trying to win.

Stop bad talking Kameo :D I think it was the secont best launch game other than cod2 it was a really fun game for me and my brothers to play together

I'm not saying it's the worse game ever, and I do plan on finishing it someday... but it can be a little boring. My cousins liked it.

I think the achievements are a good thing. I try really hard to get them but i dont like freak out over them. There cool to get but them EA sports game messes everything up. Like the game Madden 06 i played...It was easy.

But, Doesnt totally matter to me, I like shooter games. I have almost all the shooter games that are released but i still have to pick up a few. Those games are fun to get. Like just like the dude up here said....BF2 has hard achievements to get but its really fun. I already have a few of them :D

are you serious?? yesterday he was still up top... dang, about time though

EDIT: just checked www.top360tag.com and he is still #1, i also checked www.mygamercard.net and he is #1 there as well (this could have just happened as well)

The guys on his tail are from England or Europe, as they have played 'Football Manager' which is a Soccer game only released overseas. ST hasn't had access to that yet....
