My brother-in-law is the perfect host for a 4th party. He has a house with 200ft of lake frontage. A huge dock and 3 boats with all the toys (speed boat, pontoon boat, and a bass boat) 4 if you count the pedal boat. Also two jet skies, so were all hooked up for water fun. The weather was perfect. Blue skies with a few puffy clouds and about 82 with a slight breeze.
When it comes to food there is no slacking there either. We had 3 grills going and the whole family brings a ton of awesome stuff to eat.
Every year there\'s a boat parade and the kids had a blast decorating the pontoon boat. ( it came in third place)
The people on the lake are all easy going, and almost everyone knows each other. I only live 25 min. away so I\'m over there a lot in the summer. We even found a guy that had some home made Beer. ( Man was that ish good.) I had a bit to much to drink ( Imagine that ) and one of the kids dared me to eat a earthworm and of course I did. It wasn\'t so bad, the dirt was a bit crunchy though.
As it started to get dark, the fireworks really started to fly. It seems like every year people try to out do last years show. Some people even had 10in mortars. I didn\'t bring much this time. A few dozen Half sticks and some nice bottle rockets was all.
