Yeah thats what the word is...the elite's are less prone to RROD...I wonder how this red one will be...they didn't put anything else into it did they? microsoft I mean....did they rebuild it...or just make it pretty?

no i think the red ones the same, jus the color. i hav a freind who spray painted his core black ad it looked like an elite. maybe thats what i'll buy next. an elite. cuz i hate playstation and i'll never have one.

the newest shipment of "Jasper" xbox 360's are supposed to be the ones that are less prone to the RROD and you can tell you have one if it shipped after November 2008. There are a couple different ways to tell if you have one and there was a write up about them in a issue of OXM Magazine a couple of months back. In January I bought a new arcade system and ended up getting a "Jasper" and so far it hasn't given me any problems. I have been really lucky though, I have had a XBOX 360 since the day before they were released and have had no problems with that one, the only reason I bought a new one was because it is getting unreliable because the disc drive doesnt always wanna open and it doesn't always wanna read the disc.
