360 Modding
05/22/08 6:33 pm | #1
So I saw a few things online about 360 modding and I was just wondering if we have any modders on this site. Maybe give them a chance to show off there "art work"
I'm thinking about painting my faceplate, I got a cool gears of war image in my head right now. Also it won't void my warranty for doing it either, lol. I would like to paint my xbox as I have done it for a friend of mine, but the way my luck has been going with my 360, I don't think I'm going to take the chance
Anybody done anything of there own? I think it's cool to look at other people's art work, some of the things I have come across are really cool looking.
Anyway, just a suggestion.

Works for me........what is penny fixing? LoL!
I'm thinking about doing something with my controller. Been looking at the LEDS and painting it, got a buddy of mine that redid his LED's so I'm going to have him help me out. When/If I get it done I will post a picture

Penny fix is when you get RROD and u take apart your xbox and put 4 stacks of 2/3 pennys under the motherboard, i dont know exactly what it does, but it worked

it pushes the ram chip closer to the motherboard creeating abetter contact point so there is less chance for wasted contact creating heat which puts stress on your heat syncs which malfunction melting jazz thus givng you rrod

I've not modded my 360 but I've been starting to work on doing Custom Faceplates.. I've got a few i've got to get done now and I'll put up some pics to share. Modding he Faceplate can give your 360 some of your personality w/out voiding the warranty.

yeah that's what I been looking at doing. What would you suggest is some good paint to use for it? I ordered me some LED's for my controller last night, once I exchange those with the green ones in it i will post up some pictures of them.
I Can't Wait!...LoL
