Keep plugging away, and you'll be there before you know it! I have to agree with lou that once you hit a point, (achievement wise) you will start to look at your completion % and go back to games that you have 120pts. on and say, "Well, I can get to 400 on this one, and now that I have 400pts., why not get 700pts."
Achieve and complete!! It's horrible at times, but the satisfaction of having 1k on a shitty game is great! You never have to play it again!! The satisfaction of having 700-1000+ on a great game is the sense of accomplishment that gamers play for in the first place!

I personally like it, its a pretty good workout too if you can play on difficult/expert.
The achievements are fairly easy but 1000 is almost impossible unless you are REALLY good or have major dedication, its also a good party game when having friends over if you have multiple mats.
But no one plays online :
