I think I will be eliminated next week. I personally don't even think I could even get to 1k next week. I have all but finished a lot of my games and quite frankly I don't even want to touch other games.
When I first started thinking of doing this competition, I went with someone I felt would give me the best chance of winning. I picked a friend who was local and who I felt I could simply hand a game to and say play and we would wind up getting achievements and we would get to a top 5 finish. Instead, for the past few months, I have been slamming through games and beginning tons of new ones, simply to get my team not to this point. And I have frankly burned myself out. My strategy failed because it wasn't executed as I saw it. Strategies fail when there is no execution. So in probably 2 Sundays I am sure my Gamestop Associate will totally hate me when I bring in like 20 games as a trade in. I have done better than I thought I would in this competition and really... I don't care anymore if my partner puts any damn points at all up now.

If it has to be a unanimous decision for a free week I vote against it since we've already had what? Like 2 already and they all led to controversy...plus, the gaming "drought" is over, everyone's back in class for the most part so no one can complain about that and I'd like to try and win this thing sooner rather than later

@Circus, at the beginning, Bongo had said there would be 3 or 4 free weeks since there weren't enough teams to make it last the whole year otherwise. One was fine, the second was wasted because it was awarded after the fact when everyone had already played their asses off that week. That was the only reason for controversy.
I like your "strike while they're weak" attitude, though. Honestly I don't care either way- the whole summer was a free week for Evol and me... I just want to know if it's going to be at the beginning of the week so I don't waste points.
