I don't know how excited all of you are about this one, but it looks as though Microsoft has released a handful of details about the pioneer game for XBL Primetime, 1 vs. 100.
The first point made is the price point. In a refreshing move that runs perpendicular to the price trend in Marketplace, this game will be absolutely free to all Xbox live gold subscribers!
At this time, a date for release has not been pinpointed, but this is set to release in Spring 2009, so this game should be right around the corner.

I also did a little bit of digging to find an answer to the question that was chewing at me. There's little more than speculation, and an ambiguous hint by a release team member, but it looks as though this game WILL have achievements, but most likely not 1000 points. Nothing has officially been confirmed as of yet, though.
