This is one spot where Microsoft was a little behind; in an attempt to push out the 360 before their competitors, they underestimated the need for space. Now they are scrambling to sell early adopters on more space to buy the crap they are trying to push out to you. I think 1TB is really over kill; I still have over 80GB left on my 120GB.
If Microsoft were smart, they would eat the loss and offer either some sort of trade up program, or a larger hard drive at a severely reduced price. The whole point of offering a larger hard drive is to entice buyers to purchase more downloadable content, which is straight money in their pockets. How much of a loss are they really looking at if they offer even the 120GB drives at a deep discount.

this is not going to happen because the games right now are just plain and simple all on the discs and only require about 5 mbs to save for the future i will assume it will only need like 20 mbs which will not take much space at all.
