I'm treating this as rumors...I hope that Microsoft sees that doing away with compatibilities where you can play pre owned games is a idiotic idea as most of the consumers can't afford 60 bucks for a new game. If that rumor turns out to be true, then Microsoft is wasting billions of dollars on a false hope system of the future.
I have taken 3 or 4 games back to Gamestop, told them I hated it and bought another game that I did like. With the system that M$ is proposing - full cloud - that won't be an option.

It's like the $99 Xbox with the monthly subscription to Live contract for 2 years. That's definitely a marketing test, and something that if it's successful we will see more of with future systems.
I wonder if people even realize that with this $99 deal you actually end up spending about $400 on an xbox 360.... Not a deal at all.

Surely they do.
But they are able to get the $100 up front, and then go $15 a month over just coming up with $200(for a 4gb system), and $35-60 for a year of Live.
Personally, I don't see how people get away with a 4gb system. I really like having lots of space on my HD. I don't know how I ever got by with the old 20GB in the first 360 I had. Of course, back then there wasn't the option to install games.
