Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 Patch Details

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has already seen numerous glitches, glitches that weren't present in Call of Duty 4, due to implementing new features in the game, such as Care Packages. Finally Infinity Ward is fixing them all at once, hopefully preventing multiple patches like Epic's Gears of War 2. The new patch is set to come out soon as soon as it passes Microsoft Certification and it should drop with the new Map Pack which is rumored for March 1st. The new patch update will include the following fixes:

- Care Package, Emergency Airdrop, and Sentry Gun marker grenades sprint speed normalized.
- Sentry Guns: Improved placement detection, preventing cases of Sentry Guns inside geometry.
- Model 1887: Bling using Akimbo and FMJ combination now has same range and damage as non-Bling Model 1887s.
- Improved player collision removing cases of getting into geometry and ‘elevators’.

I think alot of people will be happy with the1887's being fixed. thats the one thing almost everybody has a complaint about.

they did...but...they didnt think about FMJ. it sorta adds a little more range to them....which imo they should keep. isnt that the point of FMJ? gives you a little more power, and a little more range? i see more people using SPAS-12's anyways (then again i play S&D a lot...)

The real point of "FMJ" full metal jacket is to have higher muzzle velocities and are more effective at piercing armor because the lead does not expand . . . kinda doesn't even apply to shotguns which is why the models shouldn't even be in the game . . . shotguns can have metal encased lead pellets but does not even work like a standard round. for a game trying to be ultra realistict they really stretch some things . . .

I haven't played in a long damn time man, I prestiged then just stopped playing. Been playing Fallout 3 ever since I picked it up for my birthday.

That game is 10 times better than MW2 isn't it? Did you happen to get the GotY edition I hope?

That Care Package glitch was annoying as hell
