Blazblue Continuum Shift Release and Details
Last year on June 30th 2009, Blazblue: Calamity Trigger made its way to the US consoles thanks to Aksys Game. As the sucessor to Aksys's previous fighter Guilty Gear, Blazblue: CT proved to live up to GG's expectations and more by becoming one of the most competitive fighting games to play,
Months after Blazblue CT's Console release, the second game, Blazblue Continuum Shift was already in its Beta testing for the new character balances from the first game. For those who are hardcore fighters, you may know that characters change even a little in most sequels, changes that a casual player probably wont notice. Blazblue CS has been released in Japan Arcades and some have been brought to a couple US arcades during Fall 2009
In last weeks issue of Famitsu, a japanese gaming maganzine, theyre was a headline saying there will be details on Blazblue CS console release in its next issue and here it is. Blazblue CS will be set for a console release in the Summer of 2010, probably around the same time as the first one. The console version holds many extras the arcade version or the old game Blazblue CT did not have such as:
Challenge:
Complete special missions available for each character.
Legion:
Defeat and conquer enemy locations on a map.
Blazblue CS also includes two new characters and the console version gets its own exclusive character known as Mu-12, the true form to character Noel Vermillion.
There will also be extra stages that the arcade version did not have. Though there wasnt any details about this, i hope that theyre have been balance changes from the arcade version of the game , lets just say they made a power house character ... stronger. I also pray that they changed the annoucer to the game who sounds like a retarded 5 year old trying to speak english. But aside from that, Blazblue CS 's console version is not yet complete so hopefully we can expect more changes and surprises to occur. Look forward to it
