Tom Clancy's Endwar Gameplay Video

With all gamers surging to the stores to pick up their prized copy of Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Vegas 2, lets not forget another Tom Clancy title in the works: Endwar. I recall many thinking Endwar would be the original Rainbow Six Vegas' sequel at first, but it is a game all it's own. The first gameplay video is making its rouds around the net now and can be viewed here, courtesy of the Frag Dolls.

Endwar is a step in a completely different direction for those old time Tom Clancy fans. Radically different than any other Tom Clancy game in recent memory, Endwar is a Real-Time-Strategy game, similar to Command & Conquer in gameplay. It seems that this approach may put off a lot of longtime fans of the series, but also garner many new faces. Its nice to see Ubisoft trying something different and switching it up.

Seeing the video, it looks awesome and my interest has definitley been raised a notch or two. I'm a fan of the old-time Command & Conquer RTSs, and its nice to see a resurgence of RTS with HaloWars and Endwar. Only time will tell if Ubisoft can perfect the Real-Time-Strategy game with a controller instead of the traditional and much easier keyboard and mouse setup, but I'm definitley happy to see them try!

wow I have wanted this game for so long!!! The only problem I will have with this game is I will feel dumb playing it in are living room with allot of people around. It does not seem right, me siting on the couch and saying fox-trot in the microphone over and over :D

any way the video was awesome and the only thing that I noticed that I did not like was how they played the game, basically it looked like they called all there units to one spot and watched them fight. So I hope when the game comes out there is strategy to the game.

Sounds a lot like the RTS series Starcraft/Warcraft... video definitely piqued my interest and the game warrants at least a rental.

idk how well the RTS is gunna be on the console, same worry with halo wars, no RTS has been a must buy on a console yet although they are perfect for the PC (WARCRAFT)
