Sonic The Hedgehog 2 highlights this weeks XBLA release

This week, Sonic the Hedgehog 2 will highlight the Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday offering. Also, new content for Band of Bugs and Bomberman Live! will be making an appearance. Sonic and the DLC will be available at 5:00 a.m. EST on Wednesday, September 12th. See the release below for full details:

Theyre at it again Sonic and his two-tailed friend Tails team up to fight Dr. Robotnik in Sonic The Hedgehog 2. The newest addition to the SEGA Vintage Collection, Sonic The Hedgehog 2 is available for download this Wednesday, September 12, 2007 at 9:00 a.m. GMT (2:00 a.m. PDT).

With his new Super Spin Dash and Tails the Fox at his side, Sonic is back and better than ever in Sonic The Hedgehog 2! Defy gravity in hair-raising loop-de-loops, bounce like a pinball and race like lightning. Play against friends at home or against others over Xbox LIVE in this classic game.
