Prince of Persia DLC Dated & Info

In an article on IGN it was announced yesterday that the Prince of Persia Epilogue DLC will be released February 26th. The DLC will take place after the main storyline ends (hence the title Epilogue), where you will head to the Underground Palace to fight the Shapeshifter; who will take the form of the Hunter & the Warrior. Jamal Rguigui, Associate Producer for the Epilogue DLC, stated the content will be of "superior difficulty and pace" and will "add to the understanding of PoP's new world and characters."

When asked if any of these new features would update affect the retail game, Jamal had this to say
Jamal also mentioned there would be additional achievements but failed to mention any of the details regarding the achievements. Either way, if you want more achievement points or any of the new content, plan on purchasing the DLC. No word yet on the price, we'll keep you up to date as information surfaces.
Here's some of the things we can expect to see in this DLC
The new additions include:
- New Region: The Underground Palace - A corrupted underground palace from which the Prince and Elika need to escape in a new epic journey.
- New Power: Energize - Reconstruct destroyed areas of the environment to create a path and rush through it before it vanishes.
- New high pace: The new trap challenge - The Prince and Elika will face more cunning foes, cleverer traps and level design, adding more to the difficulty level in over 3 hours of gameplay.
- New Attack: Sprinting Clash - A duel move that lets you or the enemy trigger a sprint attack, charging towards each other, clashing your weapons fiercely.
- New Unlockable Skins: Finish the game and unlock exclusively, from the early development of the game, the Prototype characters of the Prince and Elika.

The DLC is an experience that was intended for the fans of Prince of Persia, and particularly to the core gamers who wants an extensive experience with new top challenges. The core gamers will definitely be the ones who will benefit the most out of it. The DLC doesn't affect the retail game.
