New Lost Planet Colonies Screens

News | May 24, 2008 11:49 am
Capcom has been busy promoting Lost Planet Colonies Edition lately, and there were more new screens issued yesterday. These show off the weapons of the game including the Capcom staff favorite, VS. Pile Bunker which is a huge mechanical spike. Check out several of the screens below:

Our latest Lost Planet: Extreme Condition COLONIES EDITION media blast
focuses on the gloriously beautiful weapons of COLONIES EDITION. Check
out the new art and screens depicting these tools of Akrid devastation.
Our favorite is the VS. Pile Bunker which is a huge mechanical spike
that is used to puncture and impale foes. It's always a good time when
you get to Ninja a opponent from behind with a long hard monolithic
object.

What exactly is different, and why didn't they just release the changes as DLC?

Or did they? I don't follow this game. :o

If you looked up a few hands on previews online you can read up on the new additions to the game. The only DLC online as of right now are a few Map packs and theme/gamer pics of the original Lost Planet. In the interview I saw on game trailers they said the game was pretty much the original Lost Planet but with added single and multiplayer modes as well as new online character models to choose from. They also said that is was going to be priced 30$ when it came out so you cant beat that. Oh yeah they said for all achievement junkies you can regain the points for single/multiplayer.
