The first downloadable content for Gears of War that Epic has promised since the game's release in November will be available for download this week. Stated to be released on XBL early Thursday morning, the downloadable content appears in the form of two new maps: Raven Down, where teams fight in and around the crash site of a downed Raven helicopter, and Old Bones, where teams will fight in the ruins of a destroyed museum on Sera's surface. These look pretty cool, and I am really happy that Epic kept to their promise of downloadable content. And, best of all, they're both free. Happy New Year's from Epic Studios!
