NXE confirmed for Wed, Nov 19th

Major Nelson confirmed from the Tokyo Game Show that the New Xbox Experience (NXE) will be coming on Wednesday, November 19th. John Schappert, Corporate Vice President of Xbox LIVE made the announcement during his keynote for the show. A couple things to note, because this will take place on a Wednesday, there will probably not be an XBLA release that day. The second, is that Scene It? Box Office Smash! (first game to use the Avatars included in NXE) will be dropping a full three weeks prior to the NXE, so there is a chance the Avatars will not work initially, or will be generic until the NXE is fully functional.

Is Xbox America going to have avatar functionality? Not that I will EVER be caught dead using one of those wii like gimmicks... just wondering if I will see ridiculous little sim-people on my favorite forums in the future.

nov 19? jeezus...sometime in oct would be better, some DLC for it couldve been a halloween background (like the themes now, but in the background of the NXE dashboard)

Good question. I don't know yet. It depends on what Microsoft throws to the community developers... if anything.
