great i used to run a game store and that is the shittyiest third party ever fail microsoft epic fail going with mad craps and they have never made anything that lasted longer then a year let alone the ride home 
Mad Catz Signs Licensing Agreement With Microsoft

Third party video-gamer peripheral manufacturer Mad Catz has recently announced that it signed a multi-year licensing agreement with Microsoft. This agreement has given the company global rights to manufacture, market, and sell Xbox 360-branded wireless controllers.
I have never had much look with third party controllers, but its nice to see that Microsoft is finally kind of giving in on their recently locked down proprietary wireless system. As far as third-party 360 controllers, I have only ever seen the wired ones available at Gamestop, and only then sparingly. Mad Catz has made some pretty good peripherals in the past, so maybe they will correct the D-Pad and it will become the controller of choice for gamers. I do know I wish I had $50 for their awesome looking controller microphone.
"This agreement expands our relationship with Microsoft and we look forward to shipping a range of new wireless specialty controllers, the first of which will be our wireless Fender bass guitar for Rock Band, later this month," said Darren Richardson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Mad Catz. "The Xbox 360 platform is a key focus of our growing licensed accessories business and we look forward to bringing to Xbox 360 fans a variety of innovative and distinctive wireless specialty controllers to enhance their gaming experiences."
