Lost Cities on XBLA this week

News | April 21, 2008 12:13 pm
Microsoft announced today that the card game Lost Cities will be this week's Xbox Live Arcade title. The object of playing the game is to get the most point while trying to make your way through lost cities in places like the Himalayas, Brazilian rain forest and a dessert. It supports up to four-person multiplayer through Xbox Live. The game is developed by Sierra Online and should be available on Wednesday, April 23rd at the usual 4:00 a.m. EST for 800 Microsoft Points.

True to the original adventurous card game, Lost Cities transports players to exotic destinations where riveting adventures await. Before players embark on their trips they must choose how much to invest in the expedition in hopes of increasing their investment. Players then play their cards with the goal of amassing the most points and making prosperous expeditions through the various lost cities: the Himalayas, the Brazilian rain forest, the ever-shifting desert sands, ancient volcanoes and the mystifying depths of the oceans. Don't journey alone, invite up to three friends to join in the journeys over Xbox LIVE!

Developed by Sierra Online, "Lost Cities" will be available worldwide (with the exception of Japan and Korea) for 800 Microsoft Points and is rated E for Everyone by the ESRB. For more details on "Lost Cities" please visit:

Re: Lost Cities on XBLA this week
The game is not "exotic" and I would hesitate to call it "riveting". It is, however, a very solid card game. I think that it is a mistake to have used those words to describe the game. The card version is only a two player game...I'm interested to see how they incorporate four players into this version.
