No new Arcade game on Xbox Live Arcade Wednesday, but Xbox 360 owners get a treat in Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 Demo.
Dash Details: Following up the 2006 platinum seller Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter (GRAW), Ubisoft brings the sequel GRAW2, with more of what fans loved about the original with 12 single player missions, 14 multiplayer maps, and a 6 mission coop campaign. You are the Soldier of the Future 2.0. All systems have been upgraded to give you more power and control on the battlefield. Following the failure of the coup detat in Mexico City Mexican rebels have gathered their remaining forces along the US border. Lead your team of elite Special Forces for the first time on US soil - straddling the border between Juarez, Mexico and El Paso, Texas. The Ghosts have less than 72 hours to stop a nuclear attack.
The Demo is free to Gold members in all Xbox live regions and is about 500 meg.
EDIT: More details from UBI
"In the GRAW 2 single-player demo, which is set during the second mission of the game, Scott Mitchell must lead the Ghost team in Mexico to clean a rebel camp on the outskirts of the city of Juarez with the goal of destroying a number of objectives to open a breach for the allied loyalist Mexican army.
[In the full game] The player starts as a lone wolf, and then progresses through different levels, acquiring a number of new tools, weapons and abilities, such as commanding the Ghost squad and both the UAV Cypher and M.U.L.E support drones. All of these tools fall under direct player control, thanks to the new Cross Com 2.0, which allows precise control of these latest marvels of military technology.
Tom Clancys Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 is scheduled for release on the Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system from Microsoft, PSP (PlayStationPortable) system and Games 4 Windows in March 2007, with the PlayStation3 computer entertainment system version scheduled to release in June 2007."
