What most people care about is multiplayer, however i think there has to be more to a game than just multiplayer. A lot of people skip the campaign entirely and i think they are missing an essential part of the game, thats where the whole game revolves around and CoD campaigns, have in my opinion, been top notch in delivering jaw dropping moments and parts where the game truly draws you in.
I dont want to be seen as Call of duty fanboy in ANY way, but i dont think the CoD series should be hated on THAT bad, I mean although a new CoD comes out every year, its company varies by Infinity Ward, Treyarch, and Sledgehammer games. If complaing about a new call of duty game is standard, why doesn't anyone complain about the madden series, every year its the same thing in a way, new players, new fields, some new additions, same core gameplay, football. (not to be taken seriously as ivw only played one madden) This years Call of Duty title is unknown but every game from these developers have taken at least 2 years. While other games have taken multiple years which deliver amazing products (Halo 4/skyrim) All in all, CoD, despite the hate, will continue to reign at this rate, but i know the reign of CoD will end one way or another in the future. Until then, I say bring it.
