Anyways, one of my early Christmas gifts this year, I am getting a new subwoofer setup in my car Caliber SRT-4. I have never had a sub in any of my previous cars, as I never wanted to add weight, and instead focused on Horsepower and shaving weight. This car, is different as it I use it for more family stuff, and just daily use rather than having fun with it, so I decided, some more thump would be cool for once.
The setup I am gonna go with is 1-12" T3 Audio T400 Subwoofer, A Sealed Enclosure and the Arc Audio XXD1500 Amp. I will be running the Sub at 2 Ohms, as that is what the sub and amp will support properly and efficiently. I will be using the stock deck as well, as I do not want to lose my bluetooth uconnect on the car. I am getting the box and setup built and installed at a local shop called Innovation Audio and Styling. They do a lot of work on some smokin custom cars, such as Cadillacs, Camaros, GT500s, Challengers, etc.
So when it is all said and done, everything will be hidden except the sub, as I found it more appropriate to use a box, than to build fiberglass into the sides of the hatch of my car. The amp and all wiring will be hidden, as things will be mounted in the spare tire area, as my car never came with a spare due to my oversized brake calipers.
Anyways, I am anxious for the system! and will hopefully have it either installed this friday or on monday, depending on how fast my stuff gets here from GA.
So in preparation, I have been checking out songs with bass, and I find myself going to the stuff from the early to mid 90s as it was just good fun bass...not to mention, no bling bling included with the bass, lol.
Some of the songs I found good were:
Everlasting Bass by Rodney O
Munchies for your Bass by Nemesis
Lower the Dynamite by DJ Magic Mike
Bourbons and Lacs by Master P
These are just a few I found that were nice good bass. If you know of more that you used to listen to, or are currently jamming out too, please post up! A link to youtube would help too!
Thanks for reading and participating!
