Shinin' up your hog in preparation for the 70th annual biker rally in Sturgis, South Dakota? Well, prepare thyself to rock this year, as well — because the first annual Rock N' Rev Festival is gonna be goin' down up there.
Billed as "five full nights of undeniable rock n’ roll bedlam," Rock N' Rev runs August 9 through 13, and will feature the musical presence of Stone Temple Pilots, Creed, Godsmack, 3 Doors Down, Hinder, Wolfmother, Eagles of Death Metal, the Darling Stilettos, Pop Evil, Skillet, Swayback and more, all of whom will be roaring even louder than the assembled exhaust pipes.
"This makes Lollapalooza look like Littlepalooza,” says Jim Rose, of Jim Rose Circus fame, who will be emceeing the event. “This makes Ozzfest seem like Blahfest. Screw Bonnaroo, Rock’N Rev is epic!”
“Anyone who doesn't experience Sturgis during bike week is really missing out on a piece of true American Culture,” adds Godsmack lead singer Sully Erna. “Raw, hard and as real as it gets, Sturgis is a place to rock hard and ride free and Rock N’ Rev is the festival to be at! Can't wait to get back!”
Tickets for Rock N' Rev are $45 per night, or $150 for a five-day pass, and go on sale today through the festival's website and Ticketmaster. Those among you who consider yourselves "Born to Be Wild" won't want to miss it.
