STD was right......
You're right, he's not a noob. Therefore he should know how to search for other threads first. I am coming to the party late, but from what I can read here, it seems to me like Nick just mentioned the search feature and AJ quoted it, and then Miller freaked out on them.
So unless STD was right about AJ and Nick getting attacked by Miller, I would have trouble understanding what he was right about.
That said, X1's are great, from what my friends say, but they are still stereo, I think. I believe the true 4 way surround starts with the X3's.

X1s<X31s<X41s<Astro A40+MixAmp<Sennheisers
i had X3s, and they were average quality, but they sounded a bit muddy. tried out X4s didn't really like them, got the Astro A40s and have been in love ever since!!!! i have a friend who has Astros and Sennheisers and he prefers the Sennheisers with the MixAmp from Astro.

Oh I got the STD reference. Just seeing if you would actually post it. He thinks AJ is nothing but a spammer. Some people agree, like you, some disagree, like me.
That said, it is also spamming, at other sites, to make a thread without searching if there is already one pertaining to that topic.
You cannot cry foul about one spammer without calling out the other.
Just my 2 cents.
